Rajiv Gandhi National Sadbhavna Award given on
the birthday of Late Prime Minister Shri Rajiv Gandhi on August
20 every year. It is given for outstanding contributions made
by an individual or an association to promote communal harmony,
fight terrorism and violence.
The award carries Rs. 2.5 lakhs and a citation.
